Case study

New tarmac path through parkland

A new path cut through open parkland and surfaced in tarmac with edging.

Newly laid tarmac path with edging, curving through grass

The challenge

A new path route had to be excavated through established grassland, then built up and surfaced to a finish that sits neatly within the landscape.

How we delivered it

  1. Stage 1: Excavation

The route was cut through the parkland with excavators.

  2. Stage 2: Along the route

Our excavators worked along the line of the path through the grass.

  3. Stage 3: Surfacing

The path was surfaced in tarmac and edged.

The result
