Case study

Substructure for a new build plot

Foundation walls, membrane and below-slab drainage for a new build.

Substructure with blue membrane laid and orange drainage pipes coming through the slab area

The challenge

The substructure had to be built up to damp course level, with the drainage brought through in the right positions before the slab was formed.

How we delivered it

  1. Stage 1: Substructure walls

Brick and block foundation walls were built up to damp course level.
